When Two for Tea entertained visitors to Castle Howard for the sixth year in a row. A programme of Christmas carols, vintage fayre and classics both familiar and less so complemented the stunning decorations in this magnificent stately home at Christmas.

When Two for Tea were guests for the second time at a meeting of the Sheffield branch of the International Dickens Fellowship, presenting a concert-cum-lecture on Dickens and music followed by afternoon tea and cake!

Fri 31st October 2014: Lunchtime concert at York Unitarians 

When Two for Tea performed as part of the Last Fridays concert series at York Unitarian Chapel, presenting A Dickensian Drawing Room: a Dickensian-themed programme of music and readings including works by Mendelssohn, Brahms and a selection of Victoriana.

Sat 23rd November and Sat 7th December 2013: Festive music for Christmas fairs in Yorkshire

When Two for Tea entertained visitors at Christmas fairs in Leeds and Tadcaster, with programmes of Victorian and festive-themed background music.

Diamond Jubilee Celebration July 2012

Friday 13th July 2012: Accompaniment to post-concert refreshment in St. Helen’s Church, York

When Two for Tea appeared with soprano Lucy Jubb and York Barbican Players in A Diamond Jubilee Concert at St. Helen’s Church, York. A programme of tea party favourites and light, jazzy arrangements of English songs accompanied the obligatory delicious post-concert spread!

Saturday 2nd June 2012: Cafe relaunch at Grays Court, York

When Two for Tea appeared at the historic property and hotel Grays Court, York, entertaining guests with an a la carte request menu of classic favourites, jazz standards and hits from stage and screen as part of the venue’s official re-launch.

November and December 2011-2015: Christmas entertainments at Castle Howard, Yorks.

Annual engagements for Two for Tea in the Christmas at Castle Howard festival, performing a selection of popular classics, light music and Christmas favourites to visitors to this historic house.
